People are nice, but not very open and spontaneous. Personally I love it, but if you are from a country with an expressive and extraverted culture (like Southern Europe fx) you might feel a bit lonely and isolated in Scandinavia.

I live in a rural area in West Virginia. There is a train station within walking distance but it is only for coal, so you can't ride it unless you are very brave. I would say that education is pretty equal most places in the USA. You can get pretty much the same education at a community college for a lower price. Racial tensions vary quite a lot by region. It is very difficult to get decent food in the USA, especially in rural areas. Most of West Virginia is food desert. You can't just "eat healthy" unless you live near a decent grocery store. Most areas in the USA are more than an hour drive from the nearest grocery store in terms of land area.
